BANNERSIn these large fabrics, the flat colours of a flag and the synthetic graphics typical of heraldry, self affirmative symbols of an authority, are integrated in the same surface with elements that, without rejecting the unified visual language and still being part of the legitimating picture, subvert it from inside when representing its own destruction. |

POSTERSPropagandistic, educational posters, were and still are a very powerful tool to transmit ideas in a direct way. However, in this case, despite the visual clarity and the strong written message, they remain ambiguous in their intention, hardly classifiable in a concrete political spectrum. The meanings are twisted not just to affirm the opposite like in a simple irony, but rather to make us rethink in a dialectical, objective manner, about the possible truths contained in ideological constructions. |
