ANALOG DOCUMENTS
Hand-drawn replicas created after recovered fragments of lost documents presumably belonging to the so-called digital era. They deal, sometimes in a rather metaphorical way, with significant knots in the complex web of relationships between the individuals, the political framework and the technological advances of that time. As spectators belonging to an age yet to come, these bi-dimensional images seem for us at the same time familiar and estranged, we still may recognize ourselves reflected on them, although the time gap and their fragmentary character necessarily affect the mode they can be interpreted, producing a similar effect as a distorting glass. |
